Refund Policy | Withdrawal Policy

A Student, who withdraws from BITC to transfer to another school, or to return to his/ her native country for whatever reason, is deemed to have terminated from the course and withdrawn from the school. Specifically, a withdrawal is defined as:

• Withdrawing from the BITC course (completed or partial) and applying to another school in Singapore.
  
• Withdrawing from the BITC course (completed or partial) and returning to his/her native country.

Students who wish to withdraw (or terminate) from the course after commencement shall adhere to the terms and conditions of the Refund Policy stipulated in clause 2 of the Standard Student Contract. Students are required to give BITC 1 month's notice in writing and state the reason(s) for withdrawal. If the notice period is less than 1 month, BITC reserves the right to impose a fee in lieu equivalent to 1 month's course fee. We shall not accept verbal notice given by the Student. Students are requested to fill a "Withdrawal & Refunds Request Form" that is available at the school administration office.

Local and International Students withdrawing 3 days after the commencement date are liable to pay the unpaid course fee due to BITC and are subject to the terms and conditions of refund, as stipulated in clause 2 of the Standard Student Contract.

In the case of any withdrawal, a counselling session will be held between the Student and the Course Consultant to understand the reasons for withdrawal and where appropriate to offer alternative courses to the Student. The Student makes the final decision on whether to remain in the school or to proceed with the withdrawal.

Students with medical conditions or family commitments must support their claims with official documentary evidence to the school for consideration and any decision made by the school shall be final.

All requests pertaining to withdrawal matters must be submitted to the Student Welfare Officer for consideration and decision. The Student concerned will be informed of the school's decision in writing. It takes 10 days from the date of receipt of withdrawal application for the school to complete the process of withdrawal.
