ADMINISTRATION
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and on Saturday 8.30am - 12.30pm. Sunday and Public Holiday: Closed.

All Course enquiries, training centre's business and enrolments should be directed to the staff in this office who will be pleased to assist you.

TRAINING CENTRE'S HOUR
Full / Part-time Classes are conducted between 9.00am and 5.30pm, Monday – Friday and Sunday, 8.00am and 4.30pm, Saturday.

Night or Part-time Classes are from 6.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday - Saturday.

ACCOMMODATION
Students who may require private accommodation appointed by BITC can contact our Administrator for assistance and arrangement.

CAR PARKING
There are limited car parking facilities. Students are encouraged to use public transport as it is convenient and recommended. Car parked are at owner's own risk and the Management will NOT be responsible for any untowards that has occurred.

CHANGE ROOMS & RENTAL OF LOCKERS
Change Rooms and Rental of Lockers are available for student use. Lockers are available to students at a fee. A levy would be imposed on locker keys lost. Students are advised NOT to leave any valuables and money unsecured.

DRESS STANDARDS
BITC encourages high standards of dress and personal appearance at all times. This is in line with the expectations of the industries for which students are preparing. Students are required to wear regulated uniforms when involved in practical training, for hygiene and safety reasons.

Name Badges are issued to all students attending the baking courses at BITC. Students are required to wear these at all times for identification and security purpose.

LIBRARY
The BITC library consists of specialized collections in baking as well as Food and Beverage. The library compilation includes books, magazines and instructive bakery and sugar craft video tapes are strictly for reference only. The standard loan period is strictly only during Office Hours.

All students must register with the Administrative Office before they can borrow material using Name Badge to register.

OTHER FACILITIES
Photocopier is also available at a small charge in the Administrative Office.

STUDENT PASS
All course applicant who is not a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, acceptance is conditional upon the application being successful in obtaining a Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Application for a Student's Pass must be made prior to commencement of course. Applicant must allow for at least 8 weeks for the processing of applications by the Singapore Immigration Department. Application forms together with supporting letter can be obtained from BITC Administration office.

RECOGNITION - AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
BITC is well recognized locally and nationwide for excellence and relevance of bakery industry training and has received much acknowledgment, awards and achievements during its years of operation.

BITC continues to receive the diverse support from the local self-help groups like the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), the Malay community group Mendaki and the Community Development Council (CDC) to financially provide for our people.
